This masterclass is a focus on the sales process from the basics of sales through to understanding your customer, your client, your value proposition, and their needs (gaps). The workshop will include listening techniques to increase engagement, repeat sales and build a trusted network that generates further sales. The masterclass will address most forms of sales including strategic networking, sponsorship sales, membership sales, philanthropy and leveraging your board, CEO or management team. Participants will be sent some pre-work prior to the class

Speaker's Profile
Deanna Varga

Deanna Varga is the Founder and Managing Director of Mayvin Global – a Sydney based agency with offices in the Gold Coast and Darwin.

Deanna brings extensive experience in business growth for the not for profit (NFP) sector. She is on the board Transport Heritage NSW, an NFP with over 1,400 members. She was Member Director on the Board of NFP Business Events Sydney and the first Fundraising Director of Dress for Success Sydney – a charity based NFP. She has also worked for and been involved with many other Australian and International NFPs including Destinations International, Local Government NSW, Association and Australian Convention Bureau and Sydney Improvised Music Association. S

In 2019 she was awarded one of only 10 Global Scholarships to attend the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) Convening Leaders Conference in Pittsburgh.

Deanna works extensively in business events, tourism and the arts. Clients and employers have included Accor Hotels, Australian National Maritime Museum, Bleached Arts Gold Coast, China National Convention Centre, Darwin Convention Centre, KPMG, Laissez-faire Catering, Melbourne Convention Bureau, Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences, Northern Territory Business Events, National Parks and Wildlife NSW, Sydney Royal Easter Show and Tourism Australia.

Deanna has experience of working in senior roles across government, corporate, small business and not for profit.

Deanna also teaches business events at a tertiary institution in Australia called the International College of Management  Sydney and has run  many training programs both face to face and virtually, in Australia and in Malaysia.
